Question: Do these twinkle or is it more of a blinking motion?
Answer: The lights have 8 different modes and I especially liked the twinkling mode. As weird as it may sound, the twinkling lights made the room feel almost magical! They're SO pretty. 
Question: what is the default mode when I turns on the light? Does it remember last used mode?
Answer: I unplug my lights every night before going to bed, and the next night, its on the same mode as before.This light has memory function. It's great
